Exclude Calendars


This section enables users to configure custom scheduling for Rules and Workflows in iceDQ. By defining calendars with specific holidays, it ensures accurate and consistent scheduling across the enterprise.

How To: Create a New Calendar

  1. Navigate to the Administration module.
  2. Select the Configurations tab.
  3. Select Exclude Calendars.
  4. Click on New Calendar to create a new calendar.
  5. Configure a new calendar:
    1. Calendar Name: Enter a unique name for the calendar.
    2. Description (Optional): Provide a brief description of the calendar, if needed.
    3. Set as default: Check this option to set the current calendar as the default for the instance.
  6. Click on Save to create the calendar.

How To: Configure a Calendar

  1. Navigate to the Administration module.
  2. Select the Configurations tab.
  3. Select Exclude Calendars.
  4. Click on the name of the Calendar to be configured.
  5. Click on Add to define a new day to exclude from the calendar.
  6. Provide the following details to exclude a date:
    1. Date: Select the date to be excluded from the date picker.
    2. Holiday: Enter the name of the holiday or event for the selected date.
    3. Comments (Optional): Provide a brief comment for the date, if needed.
    4. Save the date: Select the pencil icon under Action to save the holiday.
    5. Created Date and Updated Date are automatically populated with the current date and time.
    6. Click Save to apply the changes.
  7. The calendar is now configured with the specified holiday dates.
  8. The scheduler will use the calendar if set as Default is selected.

How To: Remove Holiday Dates from a Calendar

  1. Navigate to the Exclude Calendars section under the Configurations tab.
  2. Click on the name of the Calendar from which the Holiday entries are to be removed.
  3. Select the checkbox next to each holiday date that should be deleted.
  4. Click Delete to permanently remove the selected dates.

How To: Delete a Calendar

  1. Navigate to the Exclude Calendars section under the Configurations tab.
  2. Select the checkbox next to each Calendar that needs to be deleted.
  3. Click Delete to permanently remove the selected Calendars.
Note

The default calendar cannot be deleted.
