Teams Notification


Microsoft Teams integration with iceDQ allows users to receive notifications about rules and workflows directly in Teams channels. This feature provides real-time updates and ensures effective collaboration by keeping users informed about rule execution results for the following events:

  • On Success
  • On Failure
  • On Error

Pre-requisites

Administrative Access is necessary to configure and test the Teams integration.


Teams Integration with iceDQ

  1. Create a dedicated channel to receive notifications in Microsoft Teams.
  2. To configure Incoming Webhook in MS Teams, Navigate to the Settings of the channel created navigate to Connectors section.
  3. Locate and select Incoming Webhook.
  4. Press Configure and provide a name for the webhook (it is recommended to use the same name as the channel).
  5. After configuration, a Webhook URL will be generated. Copy this URL for use in the next steps.

iceDQ Setup

  1. Log in to iceDQ using Administrator account.
  2. Navigate to the Administration Section: Access the Administration area.
  3. Select Integrations then Microsoft Teams. By default, Teams notifications are inactive.
  4. Activate Notifications: To enable notifications, click the +Add button and provide the following details:
    • Channel Name: Enter the name of the Teams channel created earlier.
    • Webhook URL: Paste the Webhook URL copied from Teams.
  5. Save the Configuration: Save integration settings.
